You feel as good as you are willing to be in your mind.

Did you ever hear the old adage ” it all begins in the mind”? …. It’s never been clearer than when we look at it through ‘health’ or ‘feeling good’… It’s empirical not just some piece of theory. That’s why you never need any degree to create your own health frame. All you need is your mind….. But how?

If you can read this, you must have come across millions of ‘DOs’ and ‘DON’Ts’ about health. … Do not drink water while eating,… Drink water at least one hour before eating… ‘Fruits after meals’ some years ago and ‘fruits before meals’ now, all supported by studies at different times. Did you ever try to figure out how many people obeyed all the ‘ laws of Health’ just to get run over by a car or get stung to death by a snake or be involved in other fatal accidents? Did you also try to figure out how many people ate all the sweets and chocolates but kept all their teeth to old age, or smoked like a chimney but died cancer-free at a ripe old age, or those who lived according to the doctors prescription but still needed more for one more breath? … You must have realise a lot of controversy. It’s simple; infact,… too easy. What we all must do to stay healthy is as different as our faces and finger prints are. …. To be more precise, I would say what we all must do to live in absolute health is as different for each of us as what goes on in our minds.

The medicine is not always a few pieces of white or colored particles fabricated in some distant lab. The mind embodies information fed to the brain through our senses. What we hear, see, touch, smell, feel and taste is the medicine. And sometimes it even comes from the fact that we did not perceive the things others have to. … It is so because the presence or absence of these things feed our minds with all it takes to be healthy or get sick… Imagine hearing you have a terminal disease and just few months to live. It can wreck the rest of your ‘short’ life and actually make your life short even if you had no such disease. A favorable health record for a terminal sick person would also increase the quality of life even on a person’s dying bed.

How do you make your mind do the magic for you… Let’s find that out together as you stay with me on subsequent posts.
